I am careful and conscientious in my efforts to protect my clients privacy and health information. I also comply with federal HIPPA regulations. Anything that you reveal in treatment is confidential with a few exceptions that you need to know. If you reveal child or elder abuse I am mandated by federal law to make a report to the appropriate agencies. If you report that you are going to hurt yourself I may need to take steps to help protect you. If you report that you intend to hurt someone else then I may have a duty to warn that person.
